On September 19th, China's first "Digital Craftsman" Industrial Internet Talent Training Base was officially launched in Huli District, Xiamen. Industrial Internet talents refer to individuals with expertise in new-generation information and communication technologies and industrial knowledge or specialized skills, contributing to industrial internet-related work. With the increasing digitalization of the manufacturing industry, there is a pressing need to cultivate a large number of "digital craftsmen"—composite digital talents proficient in both industrial production and digital technology. As the nation's first county/district-level industrial internet application and talent training base, and the first digital technology engineer evaluation platform in Fujian, the base features a layout of "One Center, Two Platforms, Three Bases," including a digital talent public service center, a "Digital Technology Craftsman" platform, and a "Digital Skills Craftsman" platform. Over the next 5 to 10 years, the base aims to train 10,000 "digital craftsmen."
