On October 17, the Comprehensive Strength Index of Chinese Internet Companies (2024) conference was held in Xiamen, where the Internet Society of China announced the "Top 100 Internet Enterprises in China 2024." Four Xiamen companies made the list: Meitu (34th), 4399 (46th), G-bits (53rd), and Zhonglian (96th), with Zhonglian being a new entrant this year. The conference also unveiled two sub-rankings, with Xiamen-based Zhuyun Technology, Weiyun Network, and Haibao Information among the "Top 20 Growth Internet Enterprises in China 2024," while SDIC Intelligence ranked among the "Top 20 Cybersecurity Enterprises in China 2024." The achievements of multiple Xiamen firms highlight the city's development as a "Software City with Distinctive Characteristics" in China.
