On January 18, the mayors of Xiamen and Netanya, Israel signed an international friendship city relations agreement over the cloud, marking that Xiamen and Netanya are international friendship cities. Both Xiamen and Netanya are well-known tourist cities, where the climate is agreeable and natural sceneries and human resources are unique. Also, both cities focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and embrace the booming high-tech industry. Since 2007, two cities have seen many exchanges with fruitful achievements. Sino-Israel Cooperation Project (Xiamen) Incubation Center was settled at the Software Park in 2017, and Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries established an office in Israel in 2018. Xiamen has been a trading port since ancient times and also a portal for opening up and cooperation. In addition, it also has 19 international friendship cities as well as many international friendly exchange cities and international friendly ports.
