On September 10, the 2024 BRICS PartNIR Forum opened in Xiamen. The forum, themed "Building High-Quality Partnerships for a New Era of Industrialization," focused on global hot topics in the latest technological revolution and industrial transformation. Participants included representatives from government departments of 31 countries, ambassadors to China, executives from renowned companies, industry associations, think tanks, financial institutions, and international organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Digital Cooperation Organization. This forum marks the first BRICS forum after the historic expansion of the group. Fujian province aims to strengthen cooperation with BRICS countries in industrial and supply chains, attract related industrial projects, collaborate on developing new productive capacities, and jointly build a modern industrial system. The province will also focus on talent development by innovating BRICS talent cultivation models. Xiamen, the starting point for the second "Golden Decade" of BRICS cooperation, is home to the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center.
