Recently, a significant policy aimed at improving Xiamen's international business environment was introduced, marking a major step in the city's efforts to elevate its global competitiveness. This is the second major business environment policy issued by Xiamen this year. In June 2024, the city released key measures for optimizing its business environment, signaling the entry of Xiamen's business environment into version 7.0. The new policy introduces 19 initiatives across five key areas, positioning Xiamen as a leader in integrating with and serving the new development pattern. These initiatives focus on aligning with high-standard international trade rules, fostering legal coordination and innovation both domestically and internationally, enhancing connectivity with major transportation hubs, attracting global high-end resources, and boosting international scientific and technological innovation to empower industrial growth. The policy takes effect immediately and will be implemented until the end of December 2026.
